Update: Chloe has now found her forever home.
Scottish Dalmatian Welfare is seeking to rehome Chloe, a two year old, female Dalmatian, who will make a wonderful pet.
We have found Chloe to be an inquisitive and energetic girl who wants to explore and investigate everything around about her. Like many dogs she is a little wary when meeting new people but she is not unfriendly or unduly stressed and after a few minutes will relax and enjoy being petted. She understands basic commands and responds well to rewards, be they treats or simply being made a fuss of.
Despite her energy Chloe has good manners. When meeting people she does not jump or get over-excited and when offered treats will take them gently without snatching. Travelling in the car she is relaxed and jumps in and out with only a little encouragement. On the lead she behaves well and knows that when she feels tension that means ‘slow down’, although her behaviour on an extending lead would suggest she is not used to being walked on one. Out and about Chloe pays only a passing interest to other people and dogs going by. When her walk is over she has no objection to being cleaned up and dried with a towel.
A fine example of the Dalmatian breed, Chloe is a very good-looking girl who has poise and a stride that simply says ‘I'm the best and I know it’.
Chloe would be best suited to a home where she will be the only dog. Please note also that she does not like cats.
